Abstract
Using the Lagrange-Gordeyev method for retarded fields, a technique is developed in order to find an equation of motion for a point charged particle for each different physical assumption. As is expected, for a point charged particle, Lorentz-Dirac equation is obtained without using advanced fields. Rohrlich-Boyer controversy is avoided in this process since only fluxes of energy are considered. An amazing renormalization appears when Abraham-Becker proposal is calculated.
