Impact of subcarrier allocation by rows on total sum rate for SCMA systems

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Sparse code multiple access (SCMA) is a promising technique of non-orthogonal multiple access technology (NOMA). SCMA has the potential to increase the Total Sum Rate (TSR) in 5G systems. Previous works have considered the Fixed and Dynamic resource allocation based on columns (user) criterion. In this paper, we propose resource allocation based on rows (subcarriers). The numerical results show that our approach improves the TSR in an SCMA uplink channel.
