N2 - The behavior of dissolved Fe in the river and estuary water is governed by complexing with fulvic acids, while the dissolved lead forms PbCO30. In the estuary, Zn and Cu are converted from mainly humate complexes into the inorganic forms Zn2+, ZnOH+, and CuOH+, while Cd is converted from fulvate complexes characteristic of river water mainly to CdCl+ with some contribution from Cd 2+. -from Journal summary
