Abstract

The theory of entropic elasticity of fractals has been constructed and used as a basis for development of fundamentally new approach to the problems of mechanics and synergetics of solids under deformation. Efficiency of the approach considered for treating such phenomena as nonlinear elasticity, high elasticity, plasticity and fracture of solids has been shown. The principles of self-organization have been formulated for condensed media. Analysis has been made to reveal the possibilities of controlling structure and properties of metallic materials. As in the process of their manufacture so in operation conditions. Comparison of experimental data with those calculated according to the theory proposed is presented.
