N2 - The fatigue induced microstructural changes and phase transformation of a furnace cooled (FC) eutectoid Zn-Al based alloy (the nominal chemical composition is Zn76A122Cu2 in wt%) were studied. Fatigue testing was carried out at 100°C with a fluctuation frequency of 0.1 Hz. Fatigue-tested specimens were examined using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques.
