Abstract

This paper presents the experimental verification of a current control technique for an active rectifier that uses a one-step ahead sample. The implementation uses a space-vector lineal model of the converter to predict the next current sample using an algorithm implemented on a DSP platform. The one step ahead calculations model and cost function evaluation is rapidly executed, such that control technique is operated at real time on a 3kW prototype. Steady state and dynamic experimental results are presented along the paper.
