Abstract

This paper reviews the application of radiant floors from the point of view of eco-design, integrating rainwater harvesting systems (SCALL). In order to study the behavior of these devices, an analysis is presented by means of the computational finite element method using the ANSYS ® Fluent program in student version. The simulation is carried out in a space of 1 square meter of floor covered by concrete, where a series of pipes that constitute the radiant floor are located, through which common water will be circulating whose function is to air condition domestic spaces, water that is proposed to be obtained through the SCALL, which function as a complement in applications where it is possible to use water not necessarily potable or in dual systems for the reduction of costs, without causing damage to the environment.
