Abstract

This paper shows the architecture for the construction of distributed virtual worlds based on Java RMI and VRML. We show an analysis of the advantages of this architecture over others schemes used to equip VRML with capacities of multiuser collaboration. Finally, we emphasize the future that an architecture such as this has for applications of collaborative work.
