Abstract

In a static system, the anticorrosive properties of the amino acids valine and isoleucine were determined as corrosion inhibitors in a sweet medium. With the use of electrochemical techniques EIS and Zsim software the electrochemical parameters and efficiencies of the amino acids were obtained, where the best results were obtained in an immersion time of 24 hours for both amino acids, in concentrations of 250 ppm for valine and 10 ppm for isoleucine.
