Abstract

In this paper, the control design of a single-phase inverter working in island mode is presented. This control aims to improve both the transient response and the disturbances rejection. The structure ofthe controller is a proportional-integral plus a proportional. In the proportional-integra loop a repetitive controller is added and in the proportional loop a posicast controller is added. The purpose of the posicast controller in the inverter is to improve the transient response to load steps. The transient response that is obtained is a low response damped with few oscillations and an overdraft of 21%. The repetitive controller has the function of improving the disturbances rejection, achieving a total harmonic distortion ofvoltage to 2.64% with non-Iinear loads and maintaining the amplitude, frequency and waveform of the voltage signal.
