Abstract
In this article the tribologic behavior of AISI 8620 steel is studied, This steel has been subjected to a boriding and carbonitriding process, the hardness, the relationship that keeps with regard to wear is analyzed, as well as the cracks generated by this phenomenon. For this purpose, a dry abrasion machine was used, which has been standardized with to the standard ASTM G65-94.
