Abstract
The close-spaced vapor transport (CSVT) technique is applied to the growth of polycrystalline fullerene films under various preparation conditions using fullerene extract as starting material. The obtained films are studied with atomic force microscopy and mass spectroscopy. A simplified theoretical treatment for modeling the deposition process is compared to experimental results.
