Abstract

In the context of brane universe scenario we study the cosmological evolution of the model proposed by Dvali, Gabadadze and Porrati in the case when there is not Z2 symmetry due to the interaction of the brane universe with a Ramond-Ramond field. We find the corresponding Friedmann equation and analyze the evolution of the scale factor for two branches that exist in the model. Furthermore, we find the restrictions on the cosmological parameters in order to obtain a behavior of the scale factor that could describe the evolution of our universe.
