Abstract

The design and implementation of continuous-time programmable nonrecursive filters is discussed. Building blocks in the proposed approach are voltage followers and transconductance multipliers. They are very compact and for this reason a large number of weighting coefficients (>50) can be included on a single integrated circuit chip. The proposed approach leads to filters with potential to operate close to technology limits.
