Abstract

In this work, a photobioreactor is designed to cultivate Arthrospira sustainably by controlling the proliferation environment to obtain a reliable product for human consumption that helps chronic kidney disease. TRIZ methodology was used to analyze the different types of photobioreactors and the various mechanisms that compose them to adapt later one that can satisfy the needs required for its correct design. The 3D CAD design was simulated to case study loads in an open tank. The outcome shows the stress and deformations of the material proposed to assemble the photobioreactor.
