Abstract

The passivation model which was subjected to parameteric periodic and stochastic perturbations is described for dynamical response. This model exhibits resonance behavior and induced dynamics which include periodically induced oscillation, birhythmicity, mixed-mode and chaotic oscillations in response to weak periodic modulation. The stability of saddle focus and an incomplete homoclinic connection describes resonance behavior nad induced dynamics. The obtained numerical results are applicable to electron-chemical oscillatory systems where re-injection of unstable trajectory of saddle focus is important feature in phase space.
