Abstract

A study was performed on the characterization of chemical-bath-deposited CdS thin films doped with methylene blue (MB). The zincblende crystalline structure for all the CdS samples was displayed by the x-ray diffraction patterns. The results showed that the band-energy does not decrease with the MB molecules introduction into the lattice.
