Abstract

Characterization of BaZnxFe12-xO9 prepared by chemical precipitation was discussed. The characterization was made by X-ray diffraction and Mössbauer spectroscopy. The different sublattices of the ferrite and the doublet attributed to ZnFe2O4 used in the fittings were indicated. It was found that with increasing Zn-fraction the absorption due to the doublet increases.
