Abstract

Recently it has been a lot of interest in the theory proposed by Hořava due to the renormalizability properties of the theory and as a candidate for the UV completion of Einstein gravity. On the other hand, we also investigate three dimensional black holes at a Lifshitz point. In the present work we study thermodynamical properties in this setups. In particular we are able to obtain time of evaporation for black hole solutions for the two formalisim.
