Abstract

The goal of this paper is the making of several physico-chemical analyses in order to identify the different components which integrate a sticking gel used in fabrics printing. The polymer spectroscopy analyses include infrared spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. Once the main compounds of the sticking gel are found out, we describe the usual components that can be found in a sticking gel formula and each contribution to the final behaviour of the whole, as well as its right adjustment for some given printing conditions, which place this kind of commercial products in an unsurpassable situation, with no rival in this field.
