Abstract

A study of molecular core-level shape resonances was performed using x rays through anion-yield spectrosopy. The shape resonances were to be distinguished from other phenomena as the effects of shape resonance were absent in the anion fields. Partial anion yield being more selective than other single-channel measurements were used for distinguishing shape resonance from doubly excited states.
