Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the hard switching transistor of an up / down converter. An analysis is performed to obtain the switching sequence of the transistors of the bidirectional switches. In a continuous mode, the algorithm and the operation are analyzed in a single stage and verified in a simulation performed in Saber; experimental tests were carried out and results of the waveforms obtained in the covertor as well as the transisitors are shown.
