Abstract

Based on the exact expressions of the integral for two confluent hypergeometric functions systematically obtained by the MATHEMATICA package INTEPFFLL, we obtain the mean values r^k̄(|k| ≤ 8) for hydrogen-like atoms analytically. It is found that these formulas are very useful in quantum mechanics and atomic physics.
