Abstract

Heat capacities for crystalline solids doped with impurities are analytically deduced by means of using the spectrum of energies for the driven damped harmonic oscillator and by proposing a functional factor derived from the physical properties of them. The results seem to agree with the recent data obtained in experiments; the agreement is fine up to some parameter range.
