Abstract

novel method to determine the characteristic impedance of a rectangular transmission line, through the evaluation of lumped parameters, is presented. Leaving of the current distribution that circulates in the central conductor is also compared with a technique that leaves the determination of the magnetic field inside the structure. The obtained results were satisfactory.
