Abstract
We obtain the effective-range expansion of the ηd system for seven different theoretical models of the two-body interactions. The expansion reproduces very well the theoretical scattering amplitudes for center-of-mass energies up to 100 MeV. Using this expansion we calculate the position of the ηNN quasivirtual state in the complex energy plane as it is predicted by each theoretical model.
