Resumen
A mathematical model of a rotor-bearing system and its validation and analysis of its dynamics, are presented. The bearings used in the study were of the cylindrical, pressurized type. Following the theory of the Reynolds equation and the Jeffcott rotor model, a fourth-order mathematical model was obtained, with its respective rotodynamic coefficients. The model obtained was implemented for control in open and closed loops. The results obtained showed that the threshold velocity of stability increased considerably and also the amplitude of the vibration decreased in non-linear form depending on the injection pressure applied to the lubricant. On the basis of the results obtained it is concluded that pressurized bearings could be highly reliable in industrial applications.
