The isospin 0 [Formula Presented] resonance

Abstract

We studied the resonance behavior of the [Formula Presented] system in the configuration [Formula Presented] isospin 0. We applied nonrelativistic Faddeev equations with realistic local potentials for the pion-nucleon and nucleon-nucleon interactions in the [Formula Presented] and [Formula Presented] channels, respectively. A resonance was found in this specific state; it lies slightly above the [Formula Presented] threshold and has a mass of 2018 MeV and a width of 1.75 MeV. © 1997 The American Physical Society.
