Abstract
The photovoltaic effect in p-CuInSe2/n-CdS heterojunctions has been obtained by the evaporation of In-doped CdS thin film on a sintered CuInSe2 substrate. By suitable selection of sintering conditions it was possible to obtain large grain CuInSe2 polycrystals with controlled electrical properties for solar cells. An efficiency of about 6.9% was obtained.
