Abstract

In this paper, we show the application of a coherent model on a tropical forest for studying the backscattering coefficient. The study site is located at southern Mexico. The radar configuration considered is C-band, full polarization and the range of incidence angle is the 20°-50°. As from result obtained we applied the linear regression for a build a simplified model.
