Abstract

The object of this paper is to develop a method for the statistical description of a discretization/regeneration procedure (DRP) samples of random processes at the output of inertialess nonlinear elements (NE). Existing regeneration methods, based, e.g., on the use of algebraical polynomials or the highest frequency of the spectrum, take no account of the probability-distribution laws of the random processes, so they cannot reflect the specific properties of the nonlinear conversion (NLC). The author considers a method of describing DRP's by which we may take into account the distribution law and correlation properties of a discretized process at the output of converters of various kinds.
