Abstract

Two priority-based algorithms for data communication were described. The scheme considered the length of the packet for improving the packet data transmission on the enhanced data for global system for mobile communications evolution was proposed. The EDGE also enabled packet voice transmission by allowing real-time users to use the packet data channels in the same network maintaining both the normalized delay and low blocking probability.
