Abstract

In this work, phase envelopes and critical points of multicomponents mixtures were calculated. Newton-Raphson algorithm is used for solving the system of non-linear equations in the phase envelope calculations. This algorithm and the method proposed by R.A. Heidemann for calculating critical points are used with the Peng-Robinson cubic equation of state.
