Abstract

The geometrical phase transition on a fractal transmittance was studied. The diffracted field from the transmittance was analyzed at the Fourier plane. The autocorrelation of a fractal transmittance was also discussed using joint transform correlator. A diffuse distribution of light is observed below the critical density and fringes are superimposed on this background.
