N2 - The corn earworm causes economic losses to corn (Zea mays L.) in Durango, Mexico. Some of its natural enemies belong to the order Hymenoptera. Eggs of Heliothis zea Boddie were collected in maize from which Trichogramma pretiosum Riley, Trichogramma exiguum Pinto and Platner, and Telenomus remus Nixon emerged. The latter is a new record as a parasitoid of corn earworm in Mexico.
