Abstract
A fast, two-dimensional opto-electronic streak camera based on photodiodes and optical fiber is described. The prototype uses an optical fibers matrix for conducting the light produced by electrical discharges up to/down to photodiodes, the resulting electric pulses are encoded and merged into a one-channel signal, which is then sent to a personal computer (PC) for processing and presentation of the results.
