On the surface sites distribution in MoO₃ test catalysts

Abstract

The more probable surface sites in MoO₃ test catalysts were determined by means of microdiffraction analysis. The intensity ratios of spatial-group-forbidden reflections, (100) and (001), indicate the step height and configuration, at atomic scale, of the uppermost crystal layer in contact with the gas reactants.
