Abstract

The possible existence of stable Lambda nn or Sigma -nn bound states is investigated by solving the separable model Faddeev equations for both systems in the channels with total angular momentum J=1/2 and J=3/2. It is shown that no bound state exists for either system. It is also shown that, in the case of S-wave two-body interactions, no bound state can exist with J=3/2 for the Bnn system where B is any baryon.
