N2 - This document shows the lexical and syntactic study made to evaluate the distinguishing features of the Mexican Sign Language (MSL), it also shows the work accomplished in a model for automatic translation from written Spanish to MSL. The aims of this work were to encourage the conditions of a greater social inclusion of deaf and hearing impaired people, it also looked and contributed to the creation of linguistic resources in order to support further studies of Mexican Sign Language. This project allowed the development of a corpora of signs of MSL, an small interlingua collocations dictionary between Spanish an MSL, and a dictionary of synonyms in MSL. There were identified essentials cases of MSL with regard to Spanish. The application was developed using the system of translation by rules, and lexical and syntactic transfer. It required the design of a model with validation of basic syntactic structures and equivalences rules in Spanish.
