Abstract

This paper addresses the calculation of the induced voltage in the stator winding of a permanent magnet synchronous motor under armature fault conditions. The generalized harmonic analysis is used to model the motor winding and the magnetic field in the air gap produced by the permanent magnet. Simulation results of unbalanced induced voltage are illustrated and analyzed in detail.
