Abstract

A novel amplifier structure that compensates noolinearities by means of a special type of feedback is proposed. The high linearity performance is combined with a high gain that is unreachable with the conventional feedback structure. A practical configuration of the structure is given as an improvement over both a conventional feedback amplifier and a typical feedforward amplifier. Experimental results are provided to verify the high linear characteristic of the practical structure.
