N2 - In this paper, the modeling and the experimental verification of an alternative mathematical model for the DC/DC Buck-Boost power electronic converter are presented. In order to experimentally validate the alternative model, a prototype of the converter combined with Matlab-Simulink and a DSPACE 1104 board were used. The results show that the response of the proposed model is similar to the one obtained from experiments with the prototype of the converter.
