Abstract

Estimated plankton impact on migration of some elements, in two areas of shelf zones, the Amursky Bay (estuary of the Razdolnaya River) in the Sea of Japan, and a shelf area near the estuary of the Mekong River, South China Sea. Data for Amursky Bay show trace elements concentration in plankton (with respect to dissolved fraction): Fe > Zn > Cu > Ni > Cd ~ Mn. The corresponding sequence for the estuary zone of the Mekong is: Cr > Fe > Co > Zn ~ Sb. -from Authors
