Abstract

Electromagnetic scattering within flat parallel plates wave guides is analyzed by the Finite Difference in Time Domain Method (FDTD). Electromagnetic fields are determined inside and outside of the proposed structures, which are fed respectively by a plane, 60° and 90° corner reflectors respectively, using a λ/4 monopole. The study is carried out at two microwave frequencies in order to estimate the wave guide dimensions and geometry impact on the electromagnetic signal propagation.
