Abstract

It is remarked that the angular derivative is an image operation easily implemented in tomographic systems by calculating the adjacent projection differences in sequence. This operation emphasizes distribution gradients. Numerical and experimen-tal tests (absorption objects) are shown. © 1999 Published by Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
