Abstract

Upper limb rehabilitation exercise programs have shown to be useful in reducing pain, improving mobility and functionality. This article presents dimensional design of a novel mechanism for rehabilitation based on joint trajectories extracted from common exercises for stroke recovery. A computer simulation was done in order to prove the performance of the rehabilitation trajectories by the mechanism.
