Abstract

This paper presents a new method of designing all pole filters that satisfy desired degree of flatness and a desired phase at any specified frequency point. Degrees of flatness at different frequency points are not necessarily equal. The specifications of the desired flatness and the phase result in the set of linear equations whose solution yields the filter coefficients.
