Abstract

Three mathematical models of the equation of state for LNG-like mixtures are presented. The models include an extended corresponding states model (ECS), a hard sphere model (HMS) and a revised Klosek and McKinley model. For LNG-like mixtures, all of the models predict densities to within 0. 1% of the true value. The authors have calculated mixtures at temperatures of 130 K or less.
