Abstract

The authors regret an error in Figure 3C, the image on the bottom panel corresponding to the 35S:GUS::PEST construct is the same figure shown in the upper panel, but it was acquired with different amplification. This section of the figure shows a control in which DMSO was used as a diluent for MG132 proteasome inhibitor. Images from two independent experiments of each treatment for GUS assays in transformed onion epidermal cells were included; however, this duplicity escaped from numerous rounds of revision. The corrected image is shown in a new Fig. 3. Correcting this error does not change the interpretation of the data, and it does not affect the scientific conclusions of this report in any sense.[Formula presented] The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
