Abstract
186 patient with controlled ovarian stimulation for Intrauterine Artificial Insemination were studied; 93 with FSH-r, and 93 with FSH-r and GnRH antagonist (Cetrorelix) in the first cycle. If no gestation was produced, the patient was stimulated with the other protocol alternatively. The gestation rate was 50,54%: 62,8% in cycles with GnRH antagonist and 37,2% in cycles without it. In the first cycle with GnRH antagonist 27,96% were pregnancy, and only 13,98% without it. The median of cycles to produced gestation were 1,73 and 1,89 respectively. GnRH antagonist produce more pregnancy in less cycles, with a higher number of pregnancy in the first cycle.
